Widbook Brings Innovation to Book Expo America
Imagine that you are in the second largest trade event for publishing in the world, with more than 20,000 attendees from 80 countries in the huge Javits Center in Manhattan. These are the numbers of last year’s Book Expo America edition. It would be great if you had a tool to make it easier for you to meet other fellows and be noticed in the middle of the crowd, right?
Widbook thought about that and created a QR Code to give people the opportunity to connect to each other inside the event this year, which happens from May 29 to June 1. It’s an easy way to help anyone to get to know people and exchange contacts.
If you are going to attend Book Expo America 2013, you can stop by Widbook booth (#2562) (which will be open since May 30) and provide some information for us to create and print your personal QR Code. This will allow you to be noticed inside the fair by anyone who read your QR Code with a scanner.
Widbook is also happy for offering a map of the event to make it easier to meet. People can also follow on Widbook those who met at BEA, how the fair is known inside the market.
During the event, which is the largest in the US, Wildbook will be exposing it’s content (produced by professionals of writing and authors who use the platform) and tools for medias and industry workers all over the world.
The general public is composed by booksellers, distributors, rights buyers and sellers, marketing and publicity professions, retailers, editors, power readers, film and TV professionals, media, among other readers and writer lovers.
BEA is supported by Association of American Publishers, American Booksellers Association and Association of Authors Representatives.
