By on April 16, 2014 . Category Inside Widbook

Katherine Suppa writes under the name Satrina Force. She is a very talented 16-years-old writer from New York and her book “Confessions of the High School Bad Boy” was chosen as the ebook of the week by the Widbook team. She`s been writing since she was 10 years old and now you have the chance to get to know her on this exclusive interview.

Widbook – Hi Katie, congrats on your ebook! How long time did you take to finish “Confessions of the High School Bad Boy”?

Satrina Force - It took me about a year and a half to write Confessions, which I started for NaNoWriMo last year.

Why did you choose Widbook to publish it?

I chose Widbook because I really loved this story and I wanted to share it with other people, so they could love it too.

What was the most difficult part in your ebook writing process?

The most difficult part of the ebook writing process for me is going back to edit the book. Editing because you wrote it, and to tear apart the pieces of it, even to make them better, is just heartbreaking.

What are your goals and what are you doing to achieve them?

One of my goals is to become a best selling author nu really want to put a fabulous book out there that will make people think. I attempted to do this with Confessions, but hope to improve my writing skill more.

If you could change something in the world, what would that be?

The one thing that I would change about this world if I could is way people are treated by other people. Humans can be so cruel to one another, and it is so so sad. It would be wonderful if we all just got along.

Please, leave your best writing tip for the Widbook audience.

My best writing tip for the Widbook community would be that the best stories are always the ones in which the author is perfectly in synch with their character. They live and breath their character. So, if you want to write a beautiful, realistic character, try to get in their head. What would you do if you were them?
